Rubover Rings

Contemporary and clean, rubover rings use a different technique for holding the central stone in place. Unlike the traditional claw setting, the rubover design cradles the main stone within a continuous band of metal, framing the stone and giving it a fresh, modern appearance. The rubover design does not lessen the sparkle of the ring, and can even add to the piece’s opulence when it is crafted from a precious metal or studded with extra stones.
